Description

Each year, we are so proud of our students who graduate from Marist Brothers Linmeyer. As a school that believes in supporting students from the very first day they step into the High School, we offer an intensive and extensive Academic Support and Enrichment programme. We understand each child has strengths and challenges. It is our aim that as each new grade starts together, so they finish Matric together. Only in exceptional cases will we refer students to another school. This would be a last resort and only after every opportunity to better the student’s academic performance had been considered.

Marist Brothers Linmeyer offers a wide range of subjects and has adopted a flexible approach to timetabling. Our aim is to give all students the opportunity to study their first choice of subjects. A balanced curriculum with a strong focus on employability and leadership, alongside life balance, encourages the development of much sought-after skills in the world of employment such as adaptability, creativity and self-awareness.

Whether debating in the classroom, running for Student Council, competing on the netball courts, or supporting an Outreach project, Marist Brothers Linmeyer is laying the academic, social, and emotional foundation for our students’ future. Our dedicated staff are experts in early adolescence, students stretch and growing students beyond their highest expectations.

Our end goal is that our students gain confidence and maturity through service, build resilience by learning from failure and celebrating success, and understanding the value and importance of true friendship and sportsmanship.
