Description

Holy Cross is a small Anglican primary school set in the beautiful hills of the Highland's Road outside of Grahamstown/Makhanda. We offer exceptional education in small classes with an emphasis on the environment. Our numerous international partnerships enable us to offer, amongst other things, an annual STEAM camp, a reading camp, and a mindfulness programme. Regular exposure to international volunteers expands the horizons of our learners. Local partnerships allow for close relationships with Rhodes University keeping us up to date with cutting edge educational practice, and support from local game reserves for our environmental programmes. We further benefit from a strong relationship with DSG and St Andrews College as well as collaborations across the city with other schools of excellence. Our highly qualified staff are avid life-long learners. Alumni from our school have thrived in both private and public school environments including the Oprah Academy, DSG, and VGHS.
