Description

The Vine School follows the classic Ambleside curriculum which embodies the educational philosophy of British educator Charlotte Mason. In small classes of 16 children flourish under teachers who know them personally and individually. Natural curiosity is engaged through “living books”, nature walks and great art & music.

Classrooms are peaceful, attractive spaces where children are loved, accepted and taught in a non-competitive atmosphere.  In a deliberatly cultivated spirit of joyful discovery, they pursue great ideas, academic rigour and timeless truth.  Our children are actively supported in learning to pay attention, take turns, listen to others, speak truthfully and practice self-control – habits which lead to success in learning and life.

Our Christian teachers are expected to be role models of faith and conduct, inspiring their students to think creatively, love learning and serve others.
