At Dainfern College you will find a visionary educational environment built on traditional core values. We are an independent co-educational school with a Christian ethos, catering for pupils from Grade 0 to Grade 12.
True to the College's motto, "A world of education...an education for the world", we strive in the Senior Preparatory to keep our education relevant in global terms. Dainfern College Senior Preparatory School provides a stimulating learning environment where the dedicated staff are wholly committed to the guidance and development of each individual.
The Senior Preparatory phase is from Grade 4 to Grade 7 in the age groups of 9 to 13. Pupils experience a more formalised education environment as they move into this phase. This more formal approach assists in creating a healthy work ethic in our pupils. Class teaching occurs at Grade 4 and Grade 5 levels, whereas the focus in Grades 6 and 7 is on subject teaching with specialist teachers.
At Dainfern College Preparatory, we believe in ‘growing’ and challenging our children in all spheres - academic, sporting and cultural. There is also an established Leadership Programme in place that creates numerous opportunities for pupils to grow in the various pupil-leadership programmes on offer.
Since 1997, when Dainfern College first opened its doors, the school has been consistent in two central beliefs: firstly, that our school is a centre of excellence; and secondly, that it is our calling and privilege to enrich and engage with our broader community. This is why there is a strong focus on community engagement with Outreach projects and collection drives in support of the underprivileged and those in need.
We are a happy school, committed to positive educational experiences in the interests of productive, educational rigour. If you are considering sending your son or daughter to our amazing school, please do not hesitate to pop in or call us to organise a tour.
