At Dainfern College you will find a visionary educational environment built on traditional core values. We are an independent co-educational school with a Christian ethos, catering for pupils from Grade 0 to Grade 12.
Dainfern College Junior Preparatory comprises Grades 0, 1, 2 and 3: small classes of 25 pupils, with the Grade 0 classes each having an assistant as well. The Junior Preparatory is a busy, vibrant and happy school. Each year sees our children exposed to many new challenges and excitements. The Junior Preparatory provides our pupils with a happy, secure, caring and structured environment. Our dedicated staff ensure that each child receives a quality, all-rounded education, creating opportunities for active participation in all spheres of school life: academic, sporting, cultural and outreach.
The education of our children is child-centred, emphasising the uniqueness of each individual. Our children experience the excitement and achievement of learning new concepts and skills through teaching methods that stimulate, motivate and encourage each child to achieve to his or her full potential, taking into account each child’s individual talents and needs. As part of the parent, child, teacher and school team, Dainfern College encourages our children to reach for their dreams.
We run an integrated day in Grades 1 and 2 where cultural and sporting extramural activities are incorporated into the school day. This allows pupils to participate in a single programme designed to provide a strong foundation of physical, social, cultural and academic opportunities. These rich and varied experiences and exposures ensure sound, holistic development and growth within an extended school day. 'From Grade 3, the extramural programme runs after the academic day has ended and pupils can choose from a wide variety of sporting and cultural activities in which to participate.
If you have not yet had the pleasure of visiting our school please know that you are always welcome.
