SABMiller: Maintenance Learnership Programme 2015
South Africa has one of the highest per capita alcohol consumption figures in the world; that on its own means the country’s alcohol industry is big. The size of this sector calls for big machinery and human capital which is required in the manufacturing of alcohol. The industry has some of the biggest manufacturing companies whose machinery requires the attention of trained and skilled people.
SABMiller, a multinational brewing company whose headquarters are in the UK is one such company that is responsible for the manufacturing of alcohol in South Africa.
The company is looking for candidates for the Maintenance and Learnership Programme to prove their competence in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning NQF 2 in order to maintain and repair refrigeration equipment as to meet all quality standards and to achieve customer service excellence.
To be part of the SABMiller 2015 Maintenance Learnership Programme, applicants should meet the following competence requirements:
- Matric with science and mathematics (SG) or N3 or equivalent
- Code 8 driver’s license
- Technical qualification an advantage
- Technical-electrical/mechanical experience an advantage
The candidate’s attributes should comprise of the following:
- Adavanced assembling
- Customer orientation
- Internal locus of control (self driven)
- Hand-eye coordination
